About Us

GDLC has over 4000 workers comprising Dockers, Record Clerks, Secretaries, Topside Men, Drivers, Plant Operators, Sewbags, Crane Operators, Grab Men, Lashing and Gangway Men. Other trades men include: Mechanics, Painters, Carpenter, IT Professionals, Audit and Account Personnel, Plumbers, and Masons. The company has been supplying labour to the Dock Labour Employers (DLE) working in the Tema and Takoradi ports since 2002.
